From his native Siberia to the big stages of Europe, a journey with the one whom Yehudi Menuhin considered the best violinist in the world.
Far from the Moscow factory of talent, virtuoso Vadim Repin, a native of Siberia, has followed in his childhood a great violin teacher, Zakhar Bron, in Novosibirsk. Distinguished early and prepared a soloist with the fate of rigorous education in the USSR, he won the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition at the age of 17. Hence his international career took off, supported among others by Yehudi Menuhin and his manager Eleanor Hope. He is now 37 years old, one of the most popular violinists in the world.
From Irkutsk on Lake Baikal to Berlin, Brussels, Paris and Dijon, we follow this musician, bright, full of humor and modesty, for whom the discipline and the joy of playing conbine together. In concert (as a soloist with major orchestras, but also in chamber) or in rehearsal, travel with an exceptional artist.
